Find Your IRB Analyst
Getting Started
Learn if an IRB submission is required for your study and answer your questions about preparing submissions, required training, and the CATS IRB by reviewing our guides, videos, and training opportunities found under Training and Resources. The IRB 5 Basic Steps are a good starting point for a quick overview of the IRB submission process.
Bookings with IRB Analysts
IRB Analysts within the Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) are staff who help investigators prepare a submission for approval. We assign studies to the Analysts based on the level of review and the first initial of the Principal Investigator’s last name. If you have questions specific to a protocol, even if the protocol has not been submitted for review, please directly contact the appropriate IRB Analyst or schedule a meeting with them via Bookings. For more information about Bookings, please see HRPP Bookings Info. Questions about IRB policies and processes in general can be directed to irb-orp@psu.edu.
