Job Responsibilities:
- Manages day-to-day activities of the IRB Program
- Coordinates committee review of new study applications, modifications, and continuing reviews for the use of human participants in research
- Serves as a designated reviewer of non-committee new study applications, modifications, and continuing reviews for the use of human participants in research, reportable new information, and non-human research determinations
- Meets with investigators to discuss research involving human participants, specifically to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as University policy
