As an Accountant on the Master Data team working primarily with industrial awards, Steph processes grant setups and modifications, and confirms data accuracy within SIMBA. She also reviews contract and grant financial terms to verify that they are consistent with regulations and policies, addresses grant setup concerns with pre-award negotiators and/or department post-award team members. Steph answers help desk tickets making edits and modifications as necessary.
Steph joined our Research Accounting office in 2023. She began her PSU career in 2006 working as a financial assistant within Auxiliary and Business Services for 15 years. She then transitioned to the Energy Institute in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences in 2021 where she served as a financial coordinator providing post-award support to the Institute and PIs.
Steph completed and received the ACES – ACOR Certified Research Administrator certificate in 2023.
