Sara is an accountant on the government team and primarily manages NIH and CDC awards. She started at Penn State part-time in 2017 working in Hospitality Services. She was hired full-time in January 2019 as a Financial Assistant in Research Accounting. In September 2020, she was promoted to Accountant 1 position on the Industrial team and managed sponsors beginning in U, X, Y and Z. In June 2022, she was promoted to an Accountant 2 position and managed industrial sponsors A-F. In September 2023, she was promoted to an Accountant 3 position and moved to the government team. She has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Penn State University and Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Accounting from Temple University. She is also a graduate of the Penn State ACES Research Administrator course.
