As an Accountant on the Governmental Billing and Reporting Team, Rachel is responsible for managing and overseeing the accounts receivable function for sponsored research projects, funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania . This involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of invoicing, preparing detailed financial reports, and maintaining compliance with governmental regulations.
Rachel began her career at Penn State in Student Affairs as a Cocurricular Program Coordinator in August of 2022 and joined the Office of Research Accounting in March 2024.
Rachel holds a Master of Science in Education from Gwynedd Mercy University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Penn State University.
