
Kelsey joined Penn State in July 2014. She started her career in Student Financial Services before joining Research Accounting in January 2016. Kelsey started on the Industrial team in Research Accounting as an Accountant 1, promoted to an Accountant 2 in July 2017, moved to the Government team as an Accountant 3 in October 2018 and is now the Accounting Manager for the Government team. Her experience has given her knowledge in government and industrial billing and financial reporting. She enjoys financial reporting and the satisfaction of completing and submitting financial reports on time and analyzing problems when it comes to indirect costs.
Kelsey holds a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration with a concentration in Economics & Finance from Lock Haven University. She earned her ACES certification in 2017. Kelsey was the co-winner of the ACOR Accounting/Finance All Star award in 2023. She has served on the Corporate Controller’s Staff Advisory Council, the Finance & Business Advisory Council, the ACOR Retreat planning committee, ACOR Fellows and has been a presenter for the ACES course.
Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her husband Tyler, daughter Maizie & dogs Oakley & Cutch.
