Christine began her career with the university nearly 25 years ago working in the Housing & Food Services Building at the Altoona Campus where she distributed the students mail and packages, assisted with inventory, and sold Bryce Jordan event tickets. She also took IDs for faculty/staff and students and sold meal plans. In 2000 she joined the Business Operations Department working in Telecommunications. She later became the main accounts payable person for the Altoona Campus processing millions of dollars of purchased goods, services, and utilities when she took on additional duties in Facilities & Operations. She was the secretary for the monthly safety meeting and provided the agenda and the minutes for the committee. In 2022 she moved to the University Park Campus where she joined Research Accounting as an accountant on the government team. Some of her highlights through the years were student move in/move outs, attended Dr. Rober Rohm’s Personality Profile Plus Seminar, participated in Relay for Life events over the years, Co-chaired The Commission for Women. She also was the secretary for the Staff Advisory Council and was on the committee to change Social Security numbers to PSU 9-digit numbers and flew in a private jet to Grand Rapids, Michigan to tour the Steelcase Manufacturer Facilities. Christine is profoundly grateful for the experiences and the friends she made along the way.
