
As Supervisor of the Master Data team within the Research Accounting department, Chelsi is responsible for analyzing and evaluating grant master data functions, by overseeing account setups, account modifications, and help desk tickets, to ensure such requests are completed with accuracy and timeliness. Additionally, Chelsi assists with invoicing for sponsored awards. Chelsi enjoys tracking, analyzing, and building dashboards on master data, to provide insights and visualizations on such data, for effective decision making.
Chelsi began her career with Penn State by joining the Research Accounting department as an Accountant in February 2021, and subsequently promoted to Supervisor in November 2022.
Chelsi received the ACES Certified Research Administrator certification in 2023, and holds a Master of Business Administration Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Saint Francis University, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Specialized Business Administration Accounting from South Hills School of Business and Technology. Chelsi is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics through the Penn State World Campus.
