As an accountant on the Master Data team Andria works with all the State and Federal awards. She is responsible for account setups, account modifications, help desk tickets, and entering new sponsors into SIMBA. She also reviews contract and grant financial terms to ensure they are consistent with regulations and policies and addresses concerns with pre-award negotiators and/or department post-award team members. Additionally, Andria assists with invoicing for sponsored awards.
Andria began her career with Penn State in 2018 in Auxiliary and Business Services where she spent about 5 years as a financial assistant and an accounting assistant. She worked in the cash room, id+ office, and MPC. In her time at ABS, she assisted with cash room deposits, NSO, and campus mail billing. Andria joined Research Accounting on the Master Data team in 2023.
Andria earned an Associate’s Degree in Specialized Business Administration Accounting from South Hills School of Business and Technology in 2015.
