Job Responsibilities:
- Provides direct ORP operational oversight
- Provides leadership to the 15 University research compliance and education programs, as well as the University’s research integrity program and quality assurance program
- Monitors compliance activities to ensure the University maintains compliance with federal regulations and University policy
- Oversees and directs the inquiry/investigation of non-compliance
- Serves as the University Conflict of Interest Officer for both individual and Institutional Conflict of Interest
- Serves as the Deputy Research Integrity Officer, overseeing the Research Integrity Officer and the research misconduct process
- Serves as the Institutional Official for IRB and IACUC programs for all campuses, except the College of Medicine IACUC
- Member of key University committees and collaborates closely with key University offices
- Serves as the University policy steward for Research Protections policies
