Luke serves as a Contract Administrator in Penn State’s Office of Sponsored Programs, where he manages outgoing subawards, reviews requests for proposals, processes gifts and grants, and negotiates contracts, subawards, and related modifications. Luke has also worked in the Subaward Administration and Compliance Office (SACO) as part of a dual-role assignment that included responsibilities shared across the two departments on a temporary basis.
He joined Penn State in 2025, with research administration experience from Botstiber Institute for Austrian-American Studies. While working with the Botstiber Institute, Luke administered diverse projects promoting a public and academic understanding of the relationships between the United States and the former territories of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Luke graduated from Indiana University in 2022, with Bachelor’s Degrees in International Relations and Germanic Studies, and speaks German fluently along with several other languages.
