Research Ethics Conference

Penn State Shield Outline
January 20, 2026

Join us for our inaugural Research Ethics Conference: Integrity in an Evolving Research Landscape on Thursday, September 10, 2026—a free one-day hybrid conference hosted at the Graduate Hotel in State College and online. Designed for anyone involved in the research lifecycle, this event explores the ethical challenges shaping today’s rapidly changing research environment. From AI and data responsibility to mentorship, community engagement and industry partnered research, attendees will gain practical insights to support integrity in their work.

The one-day event will also recognize and celebrate individuals who exemplify integrity, accountability, and ethical leadership in research with the presentation of four awards. Registration and award nominations will open this summer—visit the event site to learn more and explore ways to get involved. Graduate students and postdocs are particularly welcome!
