The Office for Research Protections will be closed for Penn State's winter break starting at 5 PM on December 23, 2026. The office will re-open on January 4, 2027. Submissions will not be reviewed during that time. However, staff will be available “on call” for emergencies during this time – researchers should plan to email the appropriate program below with the details of their situation and contact information.
Revised submission review schedules have been posted for the IRB, IACUC, and IBC.
Non-emergency requests will be responded to once the office reopens. Thank you for your understanding.
