Manager: Industrial Team
Crystal Kachick

Crystal’s Penn State career started in 2008 in the Eberly College of Science as a Financial Assistant. She joined the Office of Research Accounting in 2014 as an Accountant 1 and was promoted to Accountant 2 on the Industrial Team. She was then promoted to Accountant 3 where she worked on the Central Billing Project which was tasked to bring Research Billing that was being completed in the Colleges, to Research Accounting. Another task in this position was to be able to assist with staff vacancies. This provided the opportunity for Crystal to complete billing and financial reporting on the Government Team for several months. This knowledge across both the Industrial and Government teams assisted her to obtain her current role as the Accounting Manager of the Industrial team.

Crystal has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Penn State. She completed her ACES certification and later presented in ACES classes. She participated and presented at ACOR Fellows and served on the Corporate Controller Diversity & Inclusion Team for multiple years. She is a current member of the Post Award Working Group (PAWG) and was a co-winner of the ACOR Accounting/Finance All Star award in 2023.
