David Veazey

David serves as a Contracting Officer in Penn State’s Office of Sponsored Programs, where he manages outgoing subawards, reviews requests for proposals, processes gifts and grants, and negotiates contracts, subawards, and related modifications.

He joined Penn State in 2025, with research administration experience at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, following several years as an attorney in private practice and as a grant writer and grant administrator in the non-profit sector in the U.S. and abroad.

David holds a J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law, a Master of Arts in Economics from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from St. John’s College – Annapolis.
